Giraffes, Kruger National Park, South AfricaWe were watching these three graceful long necks peacefully mingling with one another when all of a sudden the bigger two got into a fight. They were hitting their necks against each other very hard. We thought their necks were about to break; it was scary to watch. After about a couple of minutes, the neck wrestling suddenly stopped and they calmly walked away from each other as if nothing had happened.  We wished we knew what caused the fight.

I’ve been dreaming to go to Africa to see the wildlife. In fact, giraffe is one of my favorite animals — I remember my amusement when I saw them for the first time as a kid.
