Locals hanging out in Old Port, Mykonos, GreeceMykonos is mostly known as the cosmopolitan, glitzy party island in the Greek Aegean Sea.  It maybe a wild, loud party mecca at night but we found that if you explore Mykonos during the day, when the party vampires are asleep, you’ll discover that Mykonos is just like any charming, idyllic Cyladic village where whitewashed walls glitters under the sun, where the maze of tiny alleys are full of charm at every turn and where the locals are still as laid back as island dwellers should be.

  4. Marisol and Keith, you are such a beautiful, GENEROUS couple, I absolutely love these amazing images! I spent a wild night in Mykanos years ago, en route to Turkey, but your photos make me want to go back and really experience the island properly. Beautiful; the colours, the angles, the little details you seem to find (like the one chair out of place) just go together to create magnificent images. You’ve inspired me to take better photos!

Hi Aleah, yes people know Mykonos mostly as a party island. That’s why we featured the tamer side of it.:) It’s a fun and beautiful island, but Santorini still holds a special place in our hearts.
